You don\u2019t have to wait for someone to invite you to a seat at the table,\u201d during the 10th annual Career Connection Conference (C3), September 30 and October 1.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s okay to find and create opportunity,\u201d Jefferson, the keynote speaker for this year\u2019s event, told students. \u201cIt\u2019s okay to be you. Don\u2019t be afraid to ask for help. Be yourself and believe in yourself. And don\u2019t be afraid of the word \u2018no.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

C3 welcomed alumnae\/i from across the country to showcase the lifelong power of a liberal arts education, share their insights on life and work, and help students connect to others in their networks. Thirty-five alumnae\/i volunteered their time and talents to serve virtually as conference leaders.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
